Rocket Your Sock Skills Into Orbit … with Launch Pad Socks
In Just One Hank of Knit One Crochet Too Crock O Dye Yarn!
This spring, we're “launching” a new Sock of the Month program, starting with a solid workhorse of a sock pattern: The Launch Pad Socks. Made with a single skein of Crock O Dye from Knit One Crochet Too, these are exactly what they look like—a basic easy to knit pair of socks. If you have never knit socks, the Launch Pad Sock pattern is the perfect place to start!

by Amy Loberg
Socks are simple, right? Well, yes and no. They're small enough to get done quickly, but there is also a some structure in a sock ... heels, toes, gussets, cuffs ... a few considerations.
This basic top-down pattern will teach you all the essential things you need to know to knit awesome socks. With no fancy stitches, the yarn creates a terrific colorway. And the socks are knit on double pointed needles, no complicated “magic loop” or “two-at-a-time” nonsense ... we will leave that for future projects.
