Wandering Moon Shawl
by Michelle Hunter
The Wandering Moon Shawl was released during a mystery knit along in October 2015, but obviously we have photography now (see left).
And if you're not familiar with Michelle's Mystery KALs, she runs four or more KALs a year—usually mystery knit alongs in which there is no photography of the finished project available until the KAL is over. These KALs have been tremendously popular, and FiberWild! is genuinely delighted to support these events with information and products.
The Wandering Moon Shawl specifically is a crescent-shaped Garter stitch shawl featuring crossed stitch patterns, cables, a decorative eyelet detail, and a hardy and attractive I-cord bind off.
The pattern and videos are still available at where you can post questions as well. You can also connect via the Knit Purl Hunter Ravelry group. And of course, now that the KAL is over, you can also download the pattern in its entirety.

This sport-weight natural-fiber yarn blends ultra-soft baby alpaca with luxurious mulberry silk and crisp and durable linen. The result is a rich, drapey yarn with fantastic yardage.
As we mentioned before, Michelle worked with the folks at Skacel and developed a new hand-dyed custom color called: Power Pink. The "Power Pink" is amazing, but make sure you check out all 16 colors of the Rylie!
