Knit this rectangular shawl from one end to the other. The cast on is done provisionally in order to have identical picot edgings. The bind off uses a crochet hook for the picot bumps.

The entire shawl is worked in stockinette, eyelet flowers and reverse stockinette.

The yarn is fine but worked on large needles, making a lightweight, airy and warm cover. It can also be scrunched up and worn as a thick scarf.

This is a sweater for REAL BABIES, regardless of the pretend baby in the photo.

The body is knit in one piece up to the underarms, then divided for front and back. Sleeves are picked up and knit downward toward the cuff in the round. The only seams are the shoulders seams which are joined using 3-needle bind off.

The lace pattern has only one row of very simple yo’s and p3tog’s which make a very subtle ripple at the hem. Neck, cuff and front edges are garter stitch.

Please note: This is a sweater for “real” babies, not dolls (although a doll is shown in the photo). The doll is size 6 month.

This cardigan is designed for boys or girls. It knits up very quickly both because of bulky gauge and also no front bands are needed. Buttonholes are knit right in as you go.

The body is knit in one piece up to the underarms then divided for fronts and back. Sleeves are knit flat then sewn in.

Another bonus is how little yarn this sweater takes. Grab just a skein or two and whip up a sweater by tomorrow!

Garment is knit in one piece from the bottom up, then divided for fronts and back at underarm. Sleeves are picked up and knit downward in the round.

Yarn shown is thick and think 100% cotton which adds to the texture of the fair isle patterns. For smooth yarns, using something slightly heavier would work.

This pretty little practical purse is knit from the top down, in the round and in one piece (no seams!) It uses simple beading, eyelets and knit/purl stitch combinations so you’ll never get bored.
The beautiful secret to the bag is the lining. Instructions are given to sew a simple double lining and how to use a plastic bowl between the linings to add structure to the bag. This means you can load up your purse with a wallet, cosmetics, glasses or even use it as a knitting bag and it won’t sag, droop or have things poke through.

Pretty and practical!

This hat begins at the top with one triangle. One by one, triangles are picked up and knit to form the crown. Once the five triangles that form the crown are complete, the sides of the hat are picked up and knit down.

No seams. Top down. No double point needles. Knit the sides as long or short as you like.

Complete photo tutorials show how to make centered double decreases on right and wrong side rows. Detailed photos show how to pick up stitches for modular triangles.

This semi-circular shawl (about 54” wide by 20” long) with a “bite” taken out at the neck which allows it to sit perfectly on your shoulders without pins or falling off. It is small enough to wear as a scarf or just enough cover over bare shoulders in air-conditioned rooms or cool summer evenings. The lace patterns change frequently making it a fun sampler for your knitting entertainment. There is no cast on edge nor bound off edge. Knitting begins with an eyelet band knit sideways, then the shawl stitches are picked up and knit downward. The hem is finished with a crochet...

Do you enjoy knitting lace but get bored quickly? Or maybe you want to try a variety of lace stitch patterns? Or you like having a choice between charts AND words?

This Lace Lover’s Shawl will be perfect for you! It’s made from the neck down in a semi-circular fashion. Flattering and stays on the shoulders, also shows off the lace patterns beautifully.

A clever neckband prevents any tight edges at the top of the shawl and a family-passed-down-finishing technique prevents a tight bind off. A few beads in the final edging give a tiny amount of weight to help the shawl drape.

The softness of the yarn and the variations of the hand dyed colors make the stripes play beautifully. The cowl starts at the bottom “zig zag” edge. Once the desired length is reached, the “valleys” are filled in using short rows to make a straight edge at the top.

The cowl could be made longer using one skein of each color.

Cowls themselves are reversible so here is a reversible cable that will look beautiful no matter how it drapes. Both sides look the same thanks to a ribbed cable design. It’s very easy to make, just two basic cables to knit. Knit a long strip to the desired length and sew the ends together. Ends could be left detached to wear as a scarf. The long, gentle color changes show off beautifully in this design.

THREE PATTERNS IN ONE!
There are instructions for three different ways to knit fun, easy projects using Zombie Yarns “Zombie Shadows” dip-dyed colors.

The Lightening Bolt Cowl teaches an easy method for intentional pooling that looks like zig zags or zebra stripes! Very easy and once it’s set up, there’s no work involved. No gauge. No stitch counting. No markers. No watching colors. Just knit.

The Navajo Ply Hat is a method for turning a single strand into a triple strand without cutting or calculating. It’s fun and there are only 2 ends to weave in. Also, the knitting...

Finally a very “boyish” sweater and hat set! No buttons or closures to fuss with and no squishing baby’s head into a tiny neck opening either. The overlapping shawl collar opens wide for an oversized baby head, then bounces back into place to keep his chest and neck cozy.

The sweater is knit in the round from the bottom up, dividing for the fronts and back. Once the shoulders are joined, sleeves are picked up and knit downward in the round also. The collar is picked up along 3 sides then the edge is sewn in place along the center front.

The hat is made in the same stitch pattern as the sweater and written in two sizes.

Of course, this would also make a beautiful sweater for a little girl baby. Just change the color and overlap the collar the opposite...
