Classic cables and clean lines define this sock pattern. The cabled rib is carried down into the leg and then frames the diamonds into the foot. The toe swirls to a close echoing the twists of the cables.

The cable pattern is charted.

1/25/11 - A new updated version of this pattern will be uploaded later this week. Anyone who has previously purchased EZ Fit Hat previously will be sent the updated version for free!

The new version has better photos, photo tutorials, and improved sizing guidelines.

This is a fun little hat that helps you obtain that illusive perfect fitting hat. The brim is knit side to side. Then stitches are picked up and the crown is knit. I keep knitting this hat over and over. It just makes this cozy thick layer over my ears and ends up the perfect size every time!

Any size yarn can be used from Sport to Chunky and guidelines are provided for Baby to Adult Large size.

This pattern was originally designed for the RYB September 2010 sock kit.

Twisting and turning cables create the Gates of Atlantis where lots of unique construction techniques can be found.

Gates of Atlantis features a toe-up swirl toe, after-thought heel with unique shaping, and shaping up the back of the leg to create ease in the cabled pattern.

Gwendolyn is a lovely little set for that precious skein of luxury yarn. Whether it’s a skein of hand spun cashmere or a scrumptious silk blend Gwendolyn shows it off and helps it go far.

The mitts take about 100 yards, the scarflette/cowl about 100 yards, and the larger scarf about 300.

Supplies
200 yards of sport weight yarn for Mitts & Scarflette.
400 yards of sport weight yarn for Mitts & Scarf.
Samples shown in Interlacements Beibi Seda, Jade Sapphire Angelwing, and Fyberspates Scrumptious Sport.
Size 3 knitting needles or size needed to get gauge. You’ll need either double points or circs for magic loop/2 circs for the mitts & single points or circs for the scarflette.
Size 4 knitting needles or one size larger than your other needles.
Stitch Markers
Small amount of waste yarn
Darning needle

Scarflette Only
Sewing needle and thread
Buttons – 1 small button, about ½” or small enough to fit through the yarn over on the scarf and not pop out.

A lovely shawl that’s highly versatile. Knit it in any weight of yarn; a lovely silk laceweight for a floaty summer shawl, or a soft worsted weight for a wonderful warm winter shawl.

The version shown is knit in a single skein Interlacements Lotus and measures 48” tip to tip & 24” down the back.

Misaki is a comfortable relaxed fit Kimono. The trim adds in little stripes of a contrasting color, I recommend a yarn with some silk in it for the contrast so it really shines.
The sample is shown in one of my own hand-dyes for the contrast, but I’ve listed a good alternative above that’s more readily available.

The body is knit flat & joined with a 3-needle bind-off at the shoulders. The sleeves are knit in the round.

I love how this sweater feels & looks in Malabrigo, but fair warning, it will pill. I have one on the needles in Stonehedge Shepherd’s Wool that is knitting up beautifully.

This is a great sweater that can be knit by a very new knitter. Then work either dressed up for an evening out, or dressed down for a comfortable everyday wear garment.

Phoebe Thrummed Mittens is a pattern 4 or 5 years in the making. I’ve been developing and testing this pattern in workshops and classes. It’s finally ready for prime time!

Phoebe features a doubled cuff, afterthought thumb, and smaller more petite thrums. However, there is no shortage of warmth or softness inside, while the size of the thrums may be smaller, there’s a whole lot of them making a less lumpy, more velvety interior.

You’ll also need 2 oz of non-superwash roving for the thrums.

There isn’t a single purl stitch in these socks! Really!
Slinky socks use a simple wrap and turn technique to make these socks fly off the needles.

Pattern has been completely rewritten, test knit, and thoroughly checked over to help assure a smooth knitting experience. Inside you’ll find a new photo tutorial and all new photographs.

The pattern includes sizing for infant through Adult Large. Expect to use 50g of sock yarn for Infant and smaller child’s sizes, 100g of sock yarn for older children and most adults, and 150g for the largest sizes.

I find that a slowly striping sock yarn really shows the pattern to its full advantage. My favorites for this pattern are Mini Mochi, Zauberball, and Kureyon sock.
