The Amalthea Hat can be made from what is left of one skein each of Frabjous Fibers/Wonderland Yarns Unicorn and Cheshire Cat yarns after making the Amalthea shawl ~ The shawl pattern can be found free online here: www.jessieathome.com/amalthea. The hat is a bit slouchy, and is made with a solid base of Cheshire Cat and a small overlay of Unicorn to tie in the lace pattern from the shawl. The name for this set was inspired by the name of a unicorn in one of my favorite movies from childhood. You are sure to stop the show when you wear this set out!!

The PDF of the Amalthea Hat pattern also includes the pattern for the Amalthea Shawl. The PDFs are not available separately, though the shawl pattern is available online for free at the link above.

Amelia is a fun, twirly skirt that fits a variety of shapes and sizes. The sides of the skirt are open from the waist on up. To wear the skirt, simply step on in and tie the back section around your waist, then wrap the front section around and tie. Or switch and tie the front section first, it is a matter of preference, creating a different look each way. The finished hem length is also entirely up to you; just stop crocheting when your desired length is reached. Remember, this skirt flares, and the longer it gets, the wider it gets, so it can use quite a bit of yarn as the length increases.

This pattern includes 6 patterns, first is a make~your~own pattern, which explains how to make the skirt based on your own measurements, so you can use any size yarn, any gauge, and any stitch you want. The remaining patterns are...

A while back I asked a group of ladies here what kind a pattern they would like to see. The first response was from knilesknitter, and she said she would love a shrug that covered her breasts and stayed there. She loves the circle shrugs, but hates when they don’t actually close. This pattern is my answer to her problem. I have worked hard at being sure it will cover you up, whatever size you are!

Always feel free to contact me at jessie519@gmail.com with any questions and I will get back to you ASAP.

The Cari Continuous Shawl is a flirty filet shawl that doesn’t fall off! I have made several continuous shawls lately, as I just love the shape. Using gradient colors, the triangular shawl is made flat until it is ready to be joined. Then the 2 acute points are joined and the shawl is continued in the round, creating this fun and easy to wear shape. Wear the point in front or back, or even just a bit off~kilter! The matching slouch hat pattern can be found for free on my website, and it is also included as a bonus pattern with this PDF, and can be completed with the yarn left over from the shawl. Plymouth Yarns Baby Alpaca DK weight is used to make this set super soft and luxurious!

I just love when form meets function! My Turtle~Neck~Lace was created just for that reason. I wanted a way to keep my neck warm, and be fashionable at the same time. A turtleneck, cowl, and necklace all in one, every time I wear it, I get complements!

There are also useful photos to help with the creation of your own piece.

Emma is a playful skater skirt inspired by a UK reality star, and the lovely ice skating ladies of the 2014 Olympics. This pattern features my unique less~bulky crochet waistband. There are photos to help you along and a few videos for extra explanation, though everything is completely explained in the text of the pattern. Emma also features a decorative border which can be made in another color for a bit of variety! The fun raised stripes down the skirt are made with front post treble crochet stitches, and make the increases very easy. The sizes on this pattern are listed by hip size as the skirt needs to be pulled up over the hips, and the waist is easily adjusted by the length of the elastic that runs through the waistband.

Wrap yourself in the season and keep the chill off this fall! Each leaf is made individually and then joined with the border round using the join~as~you~go single crochet method. Flora was originally created as a part of a Flower Faerie costume for one of my daughters. Many photos where snapped during its creation. The result is a lovely written pattern accompanied by many pictures to help you along! Flora can be made to the length of your choice, just keep in mind that this skirt tends to grow, so don’t make it too long. Instructions for an optional leaf and vine trim for the hem is included. At the end of this pattern you will find some line drawings you can use to help plan out colors. There are even a few hem variation ideas listed at the end of this pattern to help you make Flora fit your personality. The fun floral skirt pictured in this pattern was made with Bernat Softee Baby in various colors, but you can use any...

This fun, fanciful, Faerie Frock is perfect for the little girl in your life. It features vertical stripes of knit panels, connected with crochet. The frock can be made with or without a skirt, hood and sleeves. The sleeve can be of varying lengths, and can even end with mitts with thumb holes. You can close your frock with a separating zipper, snaps or buttons. A photo tutorial on shortening separating zippers is included. Several line drawings are included on the last page so you can plan out your colors. The pattern suggests one color for the outline and six colors for the panels; however, you can do what makes you happy; use just two or three colors for the panels, or even just stash~bust and wing it! The whole point of this pattern is to have fun and to bring some joy to the little one who gets to wear it.

This pattern was inspired by the remarkable Kat of Katwise.com who can also be found on...

Katherine is the adult version of the Kat Coat I made two years ago in children’s sizes.

This fun, fanciful, Faerie Frock will bring out the whimsy in you! It features vertical stripes of knit panels in the skirt, which are connected as they are made, thus there is no need to have multiple balls of yarn all being used at the same time. The frock can be made with or without a hood and there are many variations on the skirt, hood, and sleeves. Several line drawings are included so you can plan out your colors. As for the number of colors needed, you can do what makes you happy; use a different color for every part, or use just two or three colors for the panels or even stash~bust and wing it! The whole point of this pattern is to have fun and to bring some joy to the one who gets to wear it.

There are several videos linked to help with various parts of the pattern. There are also many full...

In my hunt for a great ear flap hat, I just couldn’t find what I wanted! I was looking for one that had the ear flaps made within the last several rows. I just love the look of those. Unfortunately, every pattern I found was just not quite what I wanted. The flaps were the wrong size, or they sat at the wrong angle, or they stood straight out from the hat, or just didn’t lay flat, or something else! So I gave it a go. I also worked in a fun stripe pattern, as well! Links to video tutorials are included for several stitches and techniques that are used in this pattern.

This pattern is unisex and includes all sizes from preemie to adult large. As with all my sale patterns, this pattern has been tested for typos and clarity. However, if you do find any errors or have any problems with this pattern,...

This net shawl or wrap is lightweight and perfect for a spring or summer accessory. Rather than using the popular net yarn to make ruffles or a scarf, it connects the yarn top to bottom to create an airy fabric. The shawl is half circle in shape, and the wrap is a bit more stretched out, becoming longer and thinner than the shawl.

This pattern includes written instructions to make a half circle shawl, or a longer and thinner wrap. There are step by step photos, and links to instructional videos exclusive to this pattern.

Rachel is a slightly flared double crochet skirt with lace ruffles on the bottom. You choose how many rows of lace you want at the bottom of your skirt! Instructions are given for 7 different lace patterns, which can be place in any order, use several different laces, switch off between two, or even just make a few rows of the same one, it is all up to you! Due to the fact that you choose how many ruffles to make, the smaller child sizes can be almost entirely covered in ruffles if that is what you want, and the adult sizes can have the ruffles just at the bottom, so the hips and thighs are not made larger by ruffles. Length is also left up to the creator, so this skirt can be short or long. It has a slight flair, so movement is not an issue as it gets longer. There are many process pictures included...

Small adult sized hat, which can be felted more to make it smaller. There is a tie band on the inside which will help to fit the hat. I expect this hat to fit my daughter for many years to come, as I have pulled the inner band tie quite a bit to make it fit her now.
