This henley is worked seamlessly from the bottom up. It takes advantage of the yarns’ variegation to achieve stripes of many different colors, although just two yarns are used. It is preferable to use a jogless method while working stripes.

This pattern is now available in the JMF website shop!

This shapely sweater, knit seamlessly from the bottom up, features elbow-length sleeves, underarm gussets, a welted hem, collar, and plackets, and a leafy lace pattern that runs horizontally from the center back to the right and left front. Because the plackets are picked up and knitted in, slip the first stitch of every row for ease in picking up stitches.

This cardigan begins with a provisional cast-on down the back, and is knit horizontally. Stitches are bound off for the armhole, and later cast on over the armhole for the fronts. The sleeves are picked up around the armhole and knit down. Sleeves and fronts can be knit to length desired.

The construction of this short-sleeved tee is a little unusual. Two identical side panels are knit up to the underarms, where extra stitches are cast on to make short sleeves. These two panels are “zipped up” by front & back lace panels of variable widths. The size of the sweater is primarily determined by the size of these central panels. You may use any lace pattern for these panels, provided the lace blocks to a width appropriate for your chosen size. When working side panels, slip the first st of each row.
