Using the beautiful yarn Cocoon (wool and mohair), the bottom section of this draped cowl cardigan is knitted using a cable wrap stitch with deep rib detail to the top section. This cardigan can be belted to draw it in at the waist.

There are two versions of this pattern - this is the heavier version, worked in Rowan Cocoon. The lighter, newer version, Helsinki ll is worked in Rowan Pure Wool Worsted. Helsinki ll has a different cable and stitch repeat.
Designed to be worn more like an open waistcoat or vest, this hooded scarf features armholes along the intricately cabled sides. The hood is created by clever seaming along the center and back of the scarf.
