The photo with the yellow coffee mug was taken by sasha gulish.

You will need one skein of each color to complete these fingerless mittens. The new pattern (which was originally published in Alt Fiber by Shannon Okey, Ten Speed Press, 2008) features an added thumb increase for ease of fit. This was not in the original pattern. The gauntlets can be knitted with any fingering weight yarn.

Salt Hill is a two-color cable scarf and is the first pattern released from the Synchronicity E-book. The pattern includes a full tutorial, showing how to work all the stitches included.

The striking cable pattern pops out of the background to create an
extra-warm, distinctive scarf, and, if you can cable, then this technique is very easy to learn.

The scarf can be knitted in any two yarns that have identical width and weight, however, gauge will not be the same if using yarns other than the Baah! Yarn specified.

This pattern was originally published in Alt Fiber: 25+ Projects for Knitting Green with Bamboo, Soy, Hemp and More by Shannon Okey for Ten Speed Press. It is now available as a single download here on Ravelry or on my website.

The pdf reflects errata in the pattern.

This toe-up, patterned sock features a four-stitch twisted rib and simple lace to create a wonderfully stretchy fabric that will skim pleasingly over your leg curves yet requires less shaping than a stockinette knee sock.

Errata: Row 1 should read TW2, TW2….. ends TW2, TW2.

Using two colors of the same weight of yarn, this delightfully twisty hat is fun to knit and great to wear. Incorporating two-color cable techniques (tutorial included) and multi-sizes, this is a great value pattern that will soon become a favorite.

To fit head: 14 (16, 18, 20, 22, 24) inches.
Actual width 13 (15, 17, 19, 21, 23) inches after blocking. length of crown 6 (6.75, 7.5, 8.5, 10, 11) inches. length before shaping 3.5 (4.25, 5, 4.75, 6.25,
7.25) inches.

Please note that the length of crown before shaping for the 20” size is shorter than that of the 18”. This is not a mistake, but reflects the increased number of rounds used in the shaping of that - and the two larger - sizes.

Gauge
36 sts x 34 rnds = 4 inches square in stitch pattern, after blocking.
