Killington Top-Down Pullover #114 PDF

Designed by Sue McCain

Killington is one of the better-known ski towns in Vermont. At one point, the Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival was held there. I tried to convince them that my very woolly Standard Poodles were actually sheep so I could bring them with me, but no luck. This sweater is the perfect après-anything pullover, that will keep you toasty warm and comfortable while you relax with a good book (or dog) by the fire. As wth all Basix patterns, tips and measurements are given for those who want to tweak some of the shaping elements.

This is a top-down, set-in sleeve pattern, with short-row shaping to shape the sleeve cap (instructions on how to work short rows are included). There are also tips on how to customize your fit.

Visit my blog for illustrations and step-by-step instructions on how to work top-down set-in-sleeve patterns, including working short-row shaping. Watch my YouTube video to learn how to work Japanese Short Rows. Also, be sure to visit and join my Ravelry Basix group to learn about new patterns, new blog postings, and design inspirations; feel free to post your projects and questions on my patterns.
