Knit the Rose Wedge Shawl
by Amy Loberg
A beautiful lace pattern triangle sits atop a solid garter stitch wedge to create this slightly asymmetrical shawl. The wedge is knit first, then short rows are worked to create the lace triangle. The Rose Wedge Shawl is large enough to wear wrapped, drapey enough to lie beautifully around your neck, and soft enough that you will wear it all year long!

HiKoo's “Rylie” is a unique, luxurious natural blend yarn. Linen adds a rustic look to Rylie, baby alpaca adds softness and the mulberry silk adds drape and a hint of sheen. Great for any season, this sport weight yarn would make a soft cozy shawl or fun unique top.

Care to Dance? Knit the "Feather Dance Shawl" ...
Featuring Mountain Colors' NEW Silkdance!
Amy pulled out all the stops when the ladies at Mountain Colors asked her to come up with a design to celebrate their 25th Anniversary. On top of that, they asked her to knit it in their brand new and totally luscious fingering weight Silkdance yarn. Seriously, wait until you see the sheen on this new yarn ... drool!
The beautiful Feather Dance Shawl takes inspiration from a doily Amy's grandmother designed back in 1942. She transformed the petal designs of the original pattern into large, beautiful feather motifs. This elegant shawl is perfect for a evening out or the theater and is exquisite enough for a bride to wear!

Meander through a cloud of pink blossoms in our "Spring in Japan" socks ...
Featuring Zen Yarn Garden's Serenity 20 yarn!
The ethereal blossoms of cherry trees are celebrated around the world, including in Washington, D.C. whose famous cherry trees were a gift of friendship from Japan in 1912 and 1965. But the most magical place to enjoy the blossoms is in Japan!
Every spring, people across Japan flock to parks, gardens and temples to partake in the annual ritual known as Hanami. This long standing custom of welcoming spring with a picnic and viewing of the beautiful "sakura" blossoms is a wonderful tradition.
In Japan, cherry blossoms are a symbol of clouds and an enduring metaphor for the ephemeral nature of life. With our "Spring in Japan" Socks you can capture the essence of the beautiful blooms to wear year round!
