The Modern Cloche Ensemble includes a classy hat and matching mittens, both with a little flare! The warm and stylish hat is loose fitting ... the dressy mittens are just right for any night out. Both are knit with the same contrasting yarns for extra interest and double layer hat brim 'n mitten cuffs. The perfect art-deco style set!
Kit Contents: The kit contains two patterns and all the quality yarn needed to make the hat and the matching mittens. Included in the kit is approximately 236 yards of 50% Wool / 50% Bamboo light weight yarn, and 328 yards of 60% Wool / 30% Baby Alpaca / 10% Angora fine weight yarn.
Size: The finished hat will measure approximately 22” unstretched for your average adult and the mittens can be made in a Woman's small (6½"), medium (7¼") or large (8").
Gauge: The hat is knit at 24 stitches over 4 inches on US 5 needles. The cuff portion of the mitten is knit at 22 stitches over 4 inches using US 6 double points ... the hand portion of the mitten is knit at 24 stitches over 4 inches on US 4 double points.
Needles: You will need US 4, 5, 6 and 7 16” circular needles and US 5 double points
for the hat. You will also need US 4 and 6 double points for the mittens. Needles are NOT included with the kit.
Notions: You will also need stitch markers and 2 yards of waste yarn, these are NOT included with the kit.
