Size: Varies
Gauge: Varies
Needles: Use needles one or two sizes larger than specified in manufacturer’s gauge.
Materials: Varies – Try novelty yarns, space-dyed yarns, or combine two yarns like a thin mohair, angora, metallic, etc. … avoid yarns that are too bulky or are really fuzzy!
Yardage: The yardage will vary based on desired length and width as well as gauge of yarn. Count on needing 150 yards for bulky yarns, up to 350 yards for fine yarns.
