Thinking about your next project? Maybe something soft, drapey and feminine? Check out my newest pattern, just published by Classic Elite Yarns!This design features Classic Elite's soft Vail yarn. Vail is a 70% Baby Alpaca / 30% Bamboo Viscose blend in natural, undyed colors. The bamboo gives it a bit of luster and drape, while the alpaca provides the buttery soft feel. You will need 2 skeins/472 yards of Vail for the Light Flurries Scarf. We have 7 natural colors in stock (see below). The scarf is started with a provisional cast-on and worked from the center out. Then pick up the provisional stitches and knit the second side from the center out. The pattern features “nupps” or “bobbles”, which add depth to the lace work ... for the intermediate knitter. Never knit a provisional cast-on? No worries ... Classic Elite has a great Provisional Cast-on Tutorial. 
You will need a pair of Size US 4 needles ... you can use either straight or circular needles. I prefer the addi Turbo 24” circulars (very fast!). You will also need a Size “F”crochet hook for the provisional cast-on.PATTERN ERRATA ... the first release of the pattern had a bug ... Patterns downloaded after 2/25/13 are correct! If you downloaded your pattern before 2/25/2013 ... On Row 11, sts 17 and 27 should be skp not s2kp. On Row 17, sts 8, 18, and 28 should be skp not s2kp. You can download the corrected pattern above!
